Safety Measures
Health Safety Precautions
To help prevent the transmission of all respiratory infections we adhere to standardized infection control measures, such as performing hand hygiene, following routine cleaning and disinfection strategies, use of appropriate sterilization of all tools and equipment, and wearing facemasks and gloves for each patient per guidelines set by the FDA and CDC.
If you have an appointment scheduled within the next week, please contact our office if you experience any signs of illness. We will discuss your health status and whether or not visiting our office will be safe for you, our other patients, and our staff.
When you visit our office, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment, rather than too early. This will minimize the amount of time you spend in our waiting room or reception area.
If you have any questions about our health safety protocol, please call 706-778-5093.
Special COVID Measures
For your safety, and ours, we have installed personal air evacuation units at several treatment chairs for added protection when needed during procedures that generate an aerosol. We have also installed ultraviolet light devices and medical-grade filters in our HVAC units to reduce or eliminate viruses and bacteria in the air.
